A member of the NZ Under 21s squad since 2010, Kirsten is making her debut in the ANZ Championship in 2013. She was a member of the NZ Secondary Schools team in 2009-2010 who bet Australia, a moment Kirsten refers to as a career highlight.
Kirsten is also passionate about athletics. She represented New Zealand at the Oceania Athletics Championships in 2008, competing in the 400m and high jump events.
She is hoping to be member of the NZ U21 team to travel to Glasgow later in 2013 to compete in the World Youth Championships.
